Candelaria del Carmen Pinto Luna
TESTIMONIO DE CARMEN PINTO LUNA, socióloga, magister en Historia y Memoria. Durante la Unidad Popular, se desempeñaba como secretaria de Isidoro Carillo, Gerente General de la Empresa Nacional del Carbón (ENACAR), quien fue fusilado con posterioridad al Golpe de Estado. Al sufrir persecución, se asila en la Embajada de Francia y parte al exilio a ese país. En el exterior, se integra al trabajo con sindicatos, llegando a ser Presidenta del Comité Exterior de la CUT, con representación en la OIT como invitada fraternal. Regresa a Chile a principios de los 90 y estudia la carrera de sociología. Actualmente está dedicada a la investigación en memoria y la repercusión del exilio en las segundas y terceras generaciones.

TESTIMONIO DE TOMÁS GARCÍA, Profesor de Historia y Geografía, Académico de la Universidad de Chile y militante del Partido Comunista. Luego del Golpe parte junto a su familia al exilio a Buenos Aires, Argentina, y posteriormente a Mozambique. En dicho país ejerce como docente en la Facultad de Letras y Geografía en la Universidad de Maputo. Su retorno a Chile en 1985 es complejo y en un momento socialmente convulso. Se mantiene en plena actividad política y dedicado a acciones de rescate de memoria histórica.

TESTIMONIO DE ORLANDO VALDÉS BARRIENTOS, “El Caliche”. Ex militante del MAPU y hombre de diversas ocupaciones durante su vida. Después del Golpe, estuvo preso en el Estadio Nacional y el Campo de Prisioneros de Chacabuco. Luego se asila en la Embajada de Italia y parte al exilio radicándose en Rumania, la RDA y Alemania Federal. Retorna a Chile en 1989. Actualmente está jubilado y dedicado a actividades sobre memoria y derechos humanos, especialmente las relacionadas con Chacabuco.
